LAPORTE - Canton baseball broke their 6-game losing streak with a 12-2 win over Sullivan County in five innings during non-league action Thursday.
The Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the first, then added four more in the third. They broke the game open with five in the fourth to go up 10-0.
Both teams scored two in the fifth for the 12-2 final.
Bailey Gardner (2-for-3) had a home run, three runs scored, and 4-RBI for Canton as Reed Taylor (2-for-3) had a double with 2-RBI.
Zack Colton (2-for-3) scored twice, as Michael Beers (1-for-2) had a double, with a run scored, and an RBI.
Carson Castle (1-for-1) crossed home three times with Ben Fitch and Aaden Dowling each scoring, and driving in a run. Isaiah Colton also crossed home.
Beers got the start, going two innings for the win. He struck out five with one walk, three hits, and no runs scored.
Taylor tossed the next two innings with one strikeout, one hit, and no runs.
Colton finished out the game with one strikeout, one hit, and two unearned runs.
