Canton Falls To Montgomery In Season Finale

MONTGOMERY - Canton fell to Montgomery, 13-0 in five innings, during their season ending softball game Friday.

The Red Raiders led 1-0 after the first inning, then put up six in the second. They went to score three in the third and fourth innings to pull out the win.

Cyan Hugo (1-for-1), Trinity Acla (1-for-2), and Tara Gilbert (1-for-2) had the three hits for Canton.

Raya Preston struck out two in the loss, with five walks, 11 hits, and 13 runs, seven of them earned.

Canton ends the season 6-14.
